Adrien Chauvigne

Assistant Teacher, First Grade,

Adrien was born in Angers, in the west of France, and studies Education and Teaching at the University in Avrille. He grew up with an older sister, a younger brother, and loving parents that always supported him in his important decisions. He describes himself as a sociable, open minded and engaging young man: “Rare are the moments when I am not in a good mood or enthusiastic!” Adrien loves all sports and has played basketball for 15 years. He enjoys travelling and is especially interested in the Japanese culture and language. He is eager to ‘immerse’ himself in the life of his host family, learn new customs, make new friends and teach in an American classroom! Adrien is currently hosted by Kim and Josh Smith, and their daughter Avery, a 1st grader in the French School.
